Parse a phone number

Checks the phone number validity and converts the entered phone number to normalized formats. Useful when users enter phone numbers in different formats.

The module returns the following information:

  • Country

  • Country Calling Code

  • Number

  • Extension

  • National Format

  • International Format

  • Number in E.164 format

  • Number in RFC 3966 format

  • Validity

  • Type (fixed line or mobile)

Sample output for a US phone number:
